What is family? Who is family? Is family just bloodline or is it a bond between mutual people?

In the Dictionary, Family is defined as a group of one or more parents and their children living together as a unit and as all the descendants from a common ancestor. (Oxford Languages)

My family consists of both, which comes with great personality, ideals, and views, but those same relationships play a major role in FAMILY.

While family shares blood, the friendships made and nurtured outside of the family can be just as important as blood relatives, if not more important.

Some friends we met at school, on the job, as kids and adults. Friends made school better, work better, and just everyday life better. Some you know so long and trust so much, they’re considered family, just like your blood family. They become our support system throughout our lives.
